Adventures and Misadventures in State Writing: Reflections on the Contributions of Hood and Jackson; Peirone; Oszlak; and Gambarotta
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper analyzes current technological transformations, focusing particularly on what it refers to as “state writing”, as the set of texts and documents that reflect the decisions and courses of action of a public management, within a context that appears unfavorable to this type of discourse. It uses developments made in the fields of studies on the State and public management, as well as cultural studies, while also engaging with texts from the literary field. In conclusion, it explores alternatives that give new impetus to public management’s texts-documents, using ongoing transformations, while also resuming the principles of coherence and argumentative structure, consistent with a democratic State.
